As we came upon the Giraffes, this guy was, well, trying to do the splits.

Mr. and Mrs. Red Tailed Hawk – don’t they make a stunning pair?

Great zoo pictures! I need to post mine. Since we’ve gone so often I took most of my pics with DD in them. I figured that I have 10 pictures of the giraffes, but none with DD in them too.

The zoo is always so much fun. The closest zoo to us is over 3 hours away. We don’t get to go very often. So thank you for the wonderful photos. They are so good it makes me feel like I made a trip to the zoo myself!

I love the giraffe photo, doing the splits! That is great! You are so good at animal photos! I haven’t been to the zoo in ages…so hot here, not sure I’d brave it now.

This (the splits) is why giraffes eat from trees. Poor little guys having to look so awkward just to eat and drink! Aren’t they gorgeous, though?

    Love the last hawk shot!

    Hi Leanne,

    Photo’s are fab as usual!

I have put mine up from the playgroup safari trip on Friday – no where near as good as yours but I was at a dis-advantage me thinks. 1) My camera is probably no where near as good as yours. 2) I only had 2 hours to get around the whole safari park!!! 3) Some were taken from a moving bus.

I think we took over 160 shots in total (me and Leigh)

So overall, I think I did ok. lol. :yahoo:

My favourites of yours from above is the close up of the giraffe and the giraffe doing the splits. Great shots!
