Today is a great day, and it has everything to do with that little thumbnail to the left. That is a screenshot of my CalorieKing.com Diet Diary from yesterday (click it to see it full size).

Yesterday I made awesome choices. I was full all day, and I snacked when I felt hungry.

Today, I’ve broken into the 150’s again. Now I’ll say what I weigh. Now I’m not ashamed anymore. 158.4. I haven’t weighed this (much/little) in at least 12 years. Seriously. I don’t have too far to go to meet my goal now, my realistic goal is 155, and my dream goal is 140. I don’t intend to “stop” when I get to my goal, because look at that menu! I ate a lot of satisfying, healthy food yesterday and it was good. I made the right choices and it showed up on the scale this morning.

    Aaaah. :sigh of contentment:

    It’s about dang time.

That is so awesome. I would be thrilled to be where you are! I will get there. I was 140 after my kids were born. That, would be my ultimate goal as well. But, I can only do one day, one week at a time.

    I bet you feel WONDERFUL!

How has your family been thru this?

Sorry, Nancy! I resized it so you don’t need to further magnify it when you click the thumbnail. If you refresh a couple of times you’ll get the new size, much more clear at first glance! 🙂

My family has been amazing, really. Catybug was jumping up and down this morning, Mark was good job’ing me, and I feel really good! I still wish I could see it in the mirror, but I do know it by how my “old” clothes from just last fall fit me.

The way I look at it – even a half a pound a week adds up after just a few weeks. Really. 1/10th of a pound a day – that’s not too hard to achieve!

But I was looking at your list, and just wondering how you can survive off of fruit for lunch? I would be passed out in my chair with my head down on the keyboard!

Oh, and holy crap! I didn’t know that there was a WordPress for Dummies! I am all over that one!! But, I no longer carve pumpkins, so I’ll be scouring the internet looking for the book. Looks like a FUN contest though!

Oh, holy crap again! I just looked at that again and realized that it’s your own written version of WordPress for Dummies? Hmm…guess I’ll be carving a freaking pumpkin. Lulu must have that…

Lulu – you crack me up! WordPress for Dummies was written by one of my very close friends and colleagues, (she owns EWebscapes, where I freelance design) – she’s offered up a signed copy as one of the prizes for my carving contest. If you want to purchase one though (instead of CARVING which is FUN and MESSY and CREATIVE and YOU SHOULD DO IT!), click on the book – I’ve got a link to it in my sidebar as well.

And P.S., Lulu, I didn’t eat just fruit – see, I ate breakfast at like 11am, so I had the fruit around 1 and then at 2:30’ish I had chicken salad and some chips and salsa – then ate again at 6, and again at 8! See. I eat alllll day.
