Notes: A very special and emotional painting. I photographed this red rose from a bouquet sent by my husband while he was deployed in Iraq on our Anniversary. When I opened the photograph full size on my computer, it begged to become a painting.

This is the best picture of a rose I have seen yet! Looking at it the first time, It was just a beautiful rose. But after reading the notes, it seemed a little more, I don’t know, romantic. (I actually though it was a photograph!)
