Something about this VS model has always made my stomach do flips whenever I’ve seen her - but this swimsuit edition that just arrived? OMG. What IS that, I’d like to know - airbrushed shiny pants with a man bulge - or is she truly just a barbie with disjointed legs? That picture scares me, and I’m not sure how it got in the catalog.
To prove her awkward bendability, I’ve clipped several of her “poses”. She has to be the most strangely flexible woman on the planet. I’ve never seen anyone who could throw a hip out without throwing a hip out - and then rest their elbow on it without separating some vertebrae in the process.
Someone explain this to me, because I’m thoroughly confused about why they don’t put a natural pose on this girl. See, this, this and this? Those are girl poses. THOSE are natural. This girl? Scares me.
Oh and look! Oompa loompa pants are in this year! Go get some!

I don’t think that’s a man bulge so much as the way the model’s thigh sits in her pelvis. Unnatural, you’re right. But unusually flexible? hate to say it, but I’m worse (maybe that’s why I give my sports med guy such nightmares!)
OW, it hurts thinking about being so bendy! Bendy in sports = good, bendy in a catalog trying to sell clothing to 70% (or whatever) of the women in America who just don’t look remotely close to that - I’m not so sure.
Hmmm…. I wonder if the 6 or 7 inches raising the rear half might have something to do with what you can do with so much flexability?… :confused:
Remember they are also marketing to men buying for their wives/girlfriends… why else would the VS catalog be like catnip to all men I know? It’s more sought after than Playboy, for goodness’ sakes!

Okay those pants are UGLY!! If i saw someone in those I would laugh :p Oompa Loompa pants are not a good look. Maybe VS should contact Stacy and Clinton.
