    She came back! I cleaned out the feeder and refreshed the sugar water and voila! What a beautiful bird to watch, and SO hard to capture. Hopefully I’ll be able to get even closer now that she knows it’s a fresh source of food, and get better pics!

    I just love these birds. We have two feeders in our tree. Its too hot for them here right now but they’ll be back.

    My feeder (placed close to red flowers) attracted one hummingbird just one time so far this year. I was thrilled with that! They are just fascinating to watch.
