OMG! I don’t know how to feel about this! I’m so conflicted. Poor robin? Lucky kestrel? Great photo? Hilarious abbreviation? Don’t make me make a choice. :brickwall:

The photographer in me was the first to react: great get! Then I started to think about those poor little chicks to be. Nature’s not for sissies!

June - the male robin kept dive bombing the kestrel - and he’d move to another lightpost. Eventually he ended up at a post right outside our back gate, and the robin gave up.

It was interesting watching - he was NOT going to give up dinner just because he kept getting interrupted, and that robin did everything he could to save his mate.

And now you tell us the other poor Robin tried to save his mate. I am a wimp, poor things, I would have been running away if I saw that. But the abbreviation was great, I only got the OMG and definitely the excitement behind it! The photo, the Kestrel - beautiful.

I would’ve said the OMG, but I wouldn’t have known what an American Kestral was. :)

I’ve seen a hawk in my yard once…I was shocked! He was chasing the sparrows in and out of the bushes.
