Project: Art Nouveau custom WordPress design.
Notes: Ammie asked for something unique to represent her own taste and style. She enjoys turn of the century elements – columns and scroll work, reminders of rich artistic design. I brought together several elements combined with a unique color scheme to, as Ammie puts it so eloquently, “create a turn of the 20th century garden home atmosphere”. 20th century – meet Web 2.0. I implemented some favorite Web 2.0 elements such as the javascript tabbed menu to help clean up her sidebars, beautiful gradients and a simple, straightforward presentation.
Leanne, you did a wonderful job. I’m very happy with the design. The colors are beautiful and the site is welcoming. The header is my favorite with the tree hiding in the shadows and backdropped by the blue late Victorian wallpaper. I’m especially thrilled with the layout and tools it gives me to keep my site organized. I’m a sidebar clutter junky and I love anything that helps me keep it organized and pretty.
