Bullet the cat was a special gift to my daughter Kristen and he proved to be a cat that she could claim for herself..... seeing how the kids take over any animal that is brought in Bullet was a very good cat at hiding until the kids were in bed and then he was bonding, sleeping with Kristen.
He got out 2 summers ago through a window screen and what she went thru to get that kitty back... door to door, posting flyers, traps, baby monitors and many a sleepless night. He was a pretty hard cat to trap as he liked it outside ( he never was out before after he first came to her) I had seen him at a Amish Store and brought him home for her. The cats out there live in the barn and surely this handsome cat needed a better life.
They end up with many dropped off and welcome people taking them home. =) They don't have a long life out there with all the cars coming in and out......
Bullet was a one of a kind sweet handsome cat that showed my daughter lots of love and attention.

Thanks for your time Leanne.

A friend of mine's dog just died. Nala was the sweetest, most energetic dog, and had been diagnosed with cancer of the spine. Though given only weeks to live, she managed to go for a whole year with the help of a special wheelchair for her hindquarters. Rita retired from work to stay home and take care of Nala and be with her. This photo is one of a series that I took of her with Nala; I think that it shows how much she loved her dogs and how much they loved her. It would make a great portrait that I know she would treasure.

Leanne

decided to Enter my Cat Bullet again :)
Bullet was definitely a one of a kind Cat
had got him from my mom as a birthday present in September of 2003. He was a handful as a kitten . Got outside and took me two days to Catch him because he was really fast that is how he got his name Bullet.

He was just a great Cat who was full of love and very loyal to me and His favorite place to be was in my room usually on my bed till night time when the kids where sleeping. I know I could always count on him for cheering me up after a bad day. When I would go to bed he would snuggle up with me just purring away and rubbing his nose on my head. He Just was my best cat ever! He had tons of personality.

Sadly He became ill on a Wednesday and Passed away two days later 11/06/2009.
He was in my lap cuddling with me that morning comforting me and just being the Cat he was when he passed. It has left a big empty spot in my heart. When I go to bed at night I miss him so much sometimes I walk in the room and expect him to be hanging out on my bed just waiting for me.:)
Photo emailed
Thank you for the consideration

Leanne, Our baby Josie recently passed away due to a stroke and we have been devastated ever since. She was only five and in perfect health, they have no explaination for her stroke and although she went very quickly we have been searching for a reason for her death, a higher meaning if you will. We have eight other kitties all of whome were very sad just laying around. We decided to adopt another baby thinking that would give a meaning for her death, giving another baby a chance at life. So now we have added Maggie, she is so like josie it sometimes makes me cry and yet she is the braver version. Josie was so shy but in the last year of her life was becoming braver all the time. She died in my arms and i think we cried everyday for 2 weeks. She is now back on our kitchen counter where she always felt safe. None of us will ever be the same, neither my boyfriend or i have ever lost something that meant so much to us,he was one of our children and we are lost without her. Christmas has been agreed to be just for them this year, but i wanted to try to give us all something to put up so we can smile at her everyday knowing she is still with us. Thannks again and i will now email a photo. jen smith

Leanne
My kitty Jackson, was found by a student of mine. It was a bitterly cold evening and he heard a faint mewing in the bushes. On inspection, he found a nearly frozen tiny tiger striped kitten. The student scooped him up and placed him inside a box with a heating blanket to warm him. Later he talked me into taking him home and I named him Jackson after the student who saved his life. I was going through a rough spot in my marriage and eventually divorced and kitty Jackson was a source of comfort. He and I had a fast bond. He was so loving, had the loudest purr and just seemed to know when I needed him. He would drop toy mice at my feet and wait for me to throw them so he could play fetch. He later went through a difficult surgery and recovery when he swallowed a thread, and I nearly lost him, but he pulled through and our bond was even stronger. Sadly I lost him a year ago to the ravages of kidney failure – he was 15. I miss him all the time as does his feline buddy, Hooper. I would love a portrait of him to honor his beautiful spirit. He was one of the sweetest cats I ever loved.
I will email you pictures of him.
Thank you for your consideration.
