ahhhh politics…that and religion are the two easiest ways to get folks riled up :-)

I have friends who supported Hillary, friends who support Obama and friends who support McCain…and none of my friends would say anything like what was said to you.

In my personal experience, the most hurtful things I’ve heard have come from the husband of a friend of mine, a very well educated and wealthy man who happens to be a Republican and prejudiced in every way one can be. But I don’t think ALL Republicans are like that, in fact, I KNOW they’re not.

LMAO, I went back and read it again… the real kicker? This is more of a bulling than anything else written in that letter to you:

Leanne, I promise you that as long as I have your support, as long as you are fighting by my side, I will work as hard as I can to win. We will keep fighting because America is worth fighting for.

I find the words “As long as I have your support” and “as long as you are fighting by my side” as an extremely bad choice of words. Does that mean that if we are not she will quit and not fight for America any more? Is it a threat that you support me or else?

I think that HIllary’s campaign manager should rethink he position if he can’t get a better handle on things better than this. LOL

Yes, Phoenix – I do think that her comment is indicative, though not a sweeping generalization – and that since “I’m not a democrat, I’m not a real artist” – I think I’m entitled to hit back – particularly since nothing I said was pointed at anyone but Hillary herself, and this is MY blog, and that person has never shown her face here before now.

As far as Hillary being a bully? Her words are those used by bullies. Are they not?

Nothing I said was directed at you or any other registered Democrat or Hillary supporter. It was a letter to Hillary, from a Republican. Obama is a much better candidate and I do hope to see him as the nominee.

I will admit that I am a democrat and that I have not decided which one to go with, however, I do believe that a decision needs to be made on who will be the final runner. It is tearing apart the party to carry on this way.

I’ll release your comment though, because I think it’s indicative of the type of people who support Hillary and I think people should be aware when they cast their vote what they’re getting this Country into. A lot of hatred wrapped up into one potentially great American.

BUT, I do not take offense easily and let it be just what it was meant to be, your opinion, as we ALL have one (although there are some [gigglechick] that need 100 mile-an-hour duct tale in a very bad way… did I say that out loud? ).

We all just have to remember that there are bad apples in every barrel and that includes political barrels as well. No one person can satisfy all and that is why we hold elections, with the hope that the majority gets it right.

PS: I bought the WP Dummies book… does that mean I won’t be a WP idiot anymore? hehehehe

How unfortunate that people like gigglechick cannot express themselves without degrading others unnecessarily.

Leanne posted her opinion, but instead of simply acknowledging that or keeping silent [always an excellent option], the chick chose to hit below the belt.

YR – Thank you. Unfortunately, you can never get away from “the dark side” of politics. I believe everyone should have an opinion and it’s everyone’s right to have a differing opinion. That’s the liberal side of me – I’ll agree to disagree, because I think ultimately everyone has the same goal – just different ways of getting there.

If everyone meted their words and thoughts as carefully, we’d be in a much better position as a country.
