I’ve just completed this gorgeous memorial portrait of Effee, a very sweet greyhound who is unfortunately no longer with us.

My schedule got a little wonky there and I lost some time so I’m a little bit behind but working steadily to get caught up again! Nice, those dogs are really gentle beauties. I knew a lady once who did Whippet and Greyhound rescues… full of beautiful spirits those dogs.

This is the life ALL greyhounds should live. It warms my heart beyond words to see this gentle, loving creature looking so peaceful. Leanne, sometimes a portrait will speak louder than others and this one truly touched my heart in a big way. A beautiful, beautiful portrait.
My husband gave me Effee’s portrait for Christmas. It is absolutely stunning and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful gift. It is now placed near her ashes.
Leanne – you are the most amazing artist and the serenity that you captured while Effee was sleeping is wonderful.
