  • I Am Not Obsessed

    March
    7
    2007

In an effort to dispel any untruths out there about my obsession with squirrels, I’ve rummaged through hundreds (cough) of photographs just to prove that they are, indeed, cute as hell and I have a justifyable urge to capture them from every angle.

Now I’m faced with an even bigger dilemma – which one to put on a shirt? If you can stand the cuteness, go on and pick your favorite from the seven squirrels I’ve chosen. I am, seriously, going to design a shirt. I can’t disappoint Mr. Dell dude, now can I?

Well, considering that the theme is “Backing Up is Hard to do”, I would say # 6 fits the part perfectly!

Hey Leanne, Hands down, squirrels are cute as hell! Doncha have to have a ton of photos to get 1 really good one?… course all of these squirrel pics are cute as hell but I think for a T-shirt, I like #1 and I like the texture of the tree bark in the background. I know why you have tons of pics of these squirrels and probably tons and tons of birds.. .is because they come and “POSE” for you so how can you resist?

If you could somehow take the background out of the first one (including tree) that could look so cute on a shirt.

#1 AND #7 would look great on a t-shirt. You are such a good host to feed all your critters so well! I bet your yard was voted as the best buffet in the whole neighborhood by those squirrels and birds. :p

    Definitely #2.

Btw, you should send Miss Snark, the anonymous literary agent, a link to this. I bet she’d want a shirt, too!!!

It’s gotta be number 7 because of how fluffy his tail is but I agree with Robin about taking the background out of no. 1. Then he’d look like he was clinging to you. Hee hee!

It looks like #7 is the most popular, but I have to go with either #2 or #3.

#3 is definitely just the cutest. He looks like he’s about to strike up a conversation with you on the nutritional value of seeds.

#2, on the other hand, makes me laugh. He’s just clinging there for dear life, like he’s about to flip over and be hanging upside down.

I must admit, while these little guys are darling, I’m not a big fan. They’ve been digging up my garden plants and biting the heads off my tulips for years now. Cute? Sure. But destructive, murderous little creatures too.
