Nothing gets my panties in a bunch more than image theft. Check the terms of use and/or credit the source, people. SO tired of the whole innocent routine.

Dang, I’ve got content theft issues every. single. day. I mean seriously – imitation stopped being a form of flattery to me a LONG time ago.
What are these people copying? Your photos? Are they selling them or something or claiming them as their own… That is pretty invasive. Can you stop them once they do this to you?

Some folks harvest my content (blog entries, whole or in part), some snag my photos and post ‘em without credits back to the source. It’s always a good idea, if you didn’t pay for an image or get it from a public domain site – to link/credit the author at the VERY least – but a responsible person would seek out any Terms of Use, especially since my copyright is visible. Even google advises people that there could be terms, it’s just that so many people choose to ignore all that silly text all over the internet that warn people about theft like that.

I’ve never posted a copyright re my photos either on my blog or at my smugmug gallery. Perhaps I should….
I’m guessing that you saw one of your photos/drawings somewhere…just wondering how it was that you happened to find it. Sorry it happened.
BTW, I still choose you for my blog designer, but until then, I’m using Typepad’s pre-set designs. They came out with a few new ones and, itchy for a change, I picked one. It’s tough though…out of all their designs, I can count on one hand those that I like and/or work for me.
