narcissi mini daffodil spring yellow flower

“Essence of Narcissi essence helps the body to process and release
the energy from the emotional-mental trauma, thus
avoiding the need for the body to store this energy as
    body-embedded trauma energy. ”

It’s no wonder when I run across things like this that spring has always been my favorite time of year. It really brings me a sense of peace and quiet and calm, when stress just kind of drifts away and I go crazy with the planting of more perennials and buying things to draw more nature into my yard. Yesterday afternoon I ordered two vines, a wisteria (wow look at this one, and this one too) and a trumpet vine. Then we had to run to the store for some things and wouldn’t you know – they had some in stock, as well as a some really healthy clematis.

Today I’ll be getting some garden fencing to attach to our new privacy fence and putting these vines in the ground, and then I’ll hover over them every morning with my coffee and camera, waiting and hoping that they flourish.

(P.S. I totally snagged the watermark idea from Mrs. Fun.)

My order is on the way according to SpringHill. I bought a black rudbekia, can’t wait to see it growing next to my yellow one! Also a pink and yellow butterfly bush to plant near my blue ones, and more plants than I can remember! I plan to entice some hummingbirds this year! If I can! 😆

I found a small grouping of hyacinth and tulips that I will transplant once they die back a bit! Must have been from previous owners even though last spring they did not bloom.

I have been so ready for spring!

I picked up the trumpet vine just for our hummingbirds, too! I’m trying to figure out where I want to plant that one – I found a really great trellis at Lowe’s this afternoon that I just might have to have!!

I bet once you split up the hyacinth and tulips you’ll start getting blooms annually – I had a problem with my iris one year, they were too compact – once I thinned them down they went crazy again!

My problem is, when I go to garden centers – I want everything. I just want to put it everywhere. I should just do it, huh?

I like that picture. It almost makes me want to go back to working as a gardener/yard worker. I sometimes miss those afternoons after school just totally relaxed working in yards. I got to plant all kinds of things, most of which I can’t even think of the names anymore.

I love spring flowers like your dafodil there, or my favorite, tulips! I’m inspired to start planting in my new yard, but I have so much inside stuff to do yet. 🙂

Wisterias (wisteria?) are so gorgeous. I wish I could have one here, but they won’t grow in my zone. My best friend moved from here to a warmer state recently and sent me a picture of a magnolia bloom near her home last week. Another thing we can’t grow here.

But not to worry. As soon as those daffodils and tulips start coming up in my neck of the woods I’ll cheer up and forget all about wisteria and magnolia. In the meantime, thanks for the pretty photo. It gives me something to anticipate.

I’m slowly working on my ‘garden’. I’m new and not-so-good at this ‘green thumb’ stuff, but making progress. This year I actually had a couple of tulips, and I’ve got an iris now that I will be taking a photo of soon. I’ve never planted bulbs before, and getting my beds to fill in is going to take patience!

It is cold and going to rain or snow ALL week. No flowers here yet. I am so jealous. I love flower essences. Have you tried Green Hope Farm? Molly is awesome. It like taking liquid light and love.

I am so much more at peace in the spring time, that’s why I dread the winter so much.

Maybe I am a total spaz but I just can’t find where to inquire about getting you to design a blog. Am I missing it? I’d love to get a quote etc.
