house sparrow photo hunkered down molting poof ball' class=

Sometimes, I wanna do exactly what this little house sparrow is doing.

Hunker down in a quiet place away from the wind and just go “poof”.

    You know what I’m sayin’?

The first thing I thought of was that he took a huge breath and is holding it until spring arrives. :jester: Very nice shot.

I must confess that it is warm here today, but I am willing to share! 😉 It has to be frustrating for those little guys this time of year… it is mating time and it looks to be too cold to go out and show off his moves to all the ladies!

    Hugsss

I believe I have similar thoughts at least once every day. I think we all want to be sheltered from the rain to a certain extent.

Beautiful image and thought, Leanne. You’ve got me thinking now!

My favorite thing is to get all bundled up and sit by the fire. I hate to be cold.

When the sun is out (yet it is still cold outside) I open the blinds and sit in the sunny spot while reading…ahhhh!

oops. (I wasn’t sure what that little bird was doing.)

At first I thought you meant you had to go poop. My bad.

Oh, yeah! Or even better: fly away to the warmth again 🙂

It has been snowing, very wet snowy rain today over here in Stockholm, Sweden and I tell you: I do NOT appreciate it.

It would be very nice to crawl back to bed and drag the blanket over my head instead of dealing with all the practical stuff around my Mom’s funeral… *sigh*

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog.
