Notes: Pete’s mom was gifted “gallery bucks” (available in my shop) for a custom portrait of her best pug buddy, Pete. She sent along several photos of Pete for me to choose from, and I could see that this one was really going to show off what a sweetie of a dog he is. Indeed, Pete’s mom was quite pleased with the results, and I thoroughly enjoyed painting him!

    Hi Leanne. I wanted to let you know that I received the portrait of Pete today. I just love it so much! It is great. I have seen portraits before and I have always thought that most of them don’t seem to get the eyes right some how. You captured Pete’s soul in his eyes.
