    Have vent, will follow!
Tucker is making huge progress! Yay for puppy training!

I am kennel training him, and he can hold his potty for 2 hours at a time now, he also sleeps through the night. He’s more like clockwork than I expected for a 15 week old. He’s even beginning to learn commands now. He sits, lays down (with some prompting), obeys “let’s go” for the most part, and I’m working with him now on “no biting” and “stop”.

He loves to bathe, he does not sit still for a furcut, and he’s teething like the dickens! (He only chews on his toys, so far!) He’s been doing great about NOT jumping – we taught him that right off the bat, however when I pat on my thigh, he will come up to me for me to pick him up and hold him like a baby. He follows me from room to room, flopping down on the nearest vent.

In short, he’s still frappin’ adorable. I don’t think he can help it!

Oh the joys of puppyhood! We will be going through that after the SGM gets home in January.

At least you know how to train a pup. My stepdaughter got a sheltie for her birthday in May and they still haven\’t trained it. Poor girl got home from vacation and had to clean up the mess!! You seem to be doing great and Tucker seems to have found a loving new family! :meow:

That is so sad to me, especially that it\’s been a year – and it would probably require a trainer now. I live next door to a few untrained animals, and it\’s really unfortunate that animals are left to go wild and fend for themselves. A little time, effort, care and love goes a long way to a pet being able to be a functional part of the family versus a destructive attention seeking animal – be it a guard dog or a bird.

    🙁

I just love this dog. I swear he reminds me of a stuffed Gund doggie. I wanna smush him and nuzzle in his fluffy fur! (My favorite so far is the shot of him sprawled on the shelf OVER the vent). 🙂
