  • Nope, I didn’t do it.

I’m either a master procrastinator, or I really just enjoy changing my mind from moment to moment.

I started fiddling with some code lastnight with another program to replace my current gallery, and before I knew it 5 hours had gone by and I was still staring at the screen trying to learn PHP. (huh? Yea, that’s what I said.) I’m trying to manipulate the code so that it does pretty much what I have right now, only the back end would be SO much easier. It will take just moments to upload new work to the gallery versus having to resize manually, then drop resized images into a gadjillion folders on the server, then go in and hand code the descriptions. It takes a lotta work to have to do less in the long run! I think I thought that what I’m using now was going to be easier..but really, every new program find yields a new and improved way to do things! And I just have to have it. I’m strange that way.

All of that techie mumbo-jumbo just means that I won’t be taking Friday “off”! I’ll finish Callie today, and I think I’ll go ahead and scan the five that are dry and pop my digital sig on them instead of waiting another day for that paint to dry.

Hey thanks for posting your funnies yesterday! I was giggling at all of them, and I think since I’m working on so many cats that I giggled most at Carrie’s. BTW Caitlin’s knock-knock joke DID happen here just a couple of weeks ago. You’ll also be amused to know that at one point on a road trip had her believing that brown cows give chocolate milk. Aren’t I awful? If you think that’s bad, Daddy added to that one by having me tell her that the goats in Iraq produce strawberry and banana flavored milk!

Ok I’m done rambling for the morning. I think.

    Sorry, comments are now closed.
