darn, lost my previous comment.
How are you able to go back and forth between paintings without losing your “rhythm”, so to speak? I think it’s amazing that you can pick up where you left off and have everything flow so well together in your paintings.
Can’t wait to see Mick and the kitties when they’re done, and my BIRD as well! LOL 😉

Ahh I’d love to work on that Heron, too, Laura. Soon, when the commissions are done.
Think of painting like cooking your favorite meal. You know how much of whatever ingredient to add to make it just how you like it, you know how it’s going to taste when you’re done. I see my paintings as a finished piece, and how I mix colors is how anyone would measure ingredients by heart. It’s just one of those things, I guess. 🙂
