i hope you post pics of your ornaments, i did pretend gingerbread ones a few years ago, they were made of mainly glue and glitter, no actual gingerbread and i gave one to a friend of mine and her dog ATE IT!!!
The flu!? Didn’t you get a flu shot? I’m sorry to hear it, and happy for you and your family that it’s gone.
Piano recitals. What will your girls be playing? Hope it’s Classical, but a Christmas piece would be good for the audience.
Keep up the good work. Stay busy. (People often say “don’t work too hard”. My wish to all is “Work hard”!).
P.S. I love Lucy. That is to say, I love your “Lucy”.
We have three stray cats since a year ago. Why? Where are the owners? One is pure black–we let her inside from the cold and she’ll stay for 8 hours before she goes to the door to want out. No doubt she’s been spayed. One is a long-hair pure gray with what we call a “smashed” face. I don’t know what this breed is, but he’s beautiful. We call him “Smash”. The worst case is an ordinary Tabby. But it’s taken me a year to get close to him. And even now when I touch him he backs away from his morning meal on the porch. He limps with a right front paw almost gone. I thought he’d wandered into a trap. No. For him to be so afraid, it had to be someone who owned him and did this to him. Breaks our heart. Looks at us with big sad eyes. Fear is gone but there’s a questioning look: “Are you going to hurt me”? Love to find someone in town who’d take him but you just can’t get a close emotional tie with him let alone find a way to capture him to a (I think a professional cat lover would know how) loving house. We care for him and love him, but it’s so sad. He’s always here for his meals. But that’s all. He sees us spend time with the other two, petting them. Why won’t he let us pet him?
I’m sorry for this long P.S. But we can’t do any more than we do.
Thank you so much.
