I wish all good things for you now as I have for the past 36.75 years.  I wish I could heal all of your bruised relationships and that everyone in the world would love you as much as I.  I wish you the &quot;courage to change the things you can, accept the things you can&#039;t change, and the wisdom to know the difference&quot;, and I wish you the &quot;Peace that passes all understanding&quot; so you will have a life full of joy and love.  You have that around you now, accept it, be happy in it - you have so much more than others.  I wish you many birthday wishes from those people that truely love you and never share that.  God bless you, and I thank Him for you.  And - if He wasn&#039;t already taking care of your finances, you wouldn&#039;t have that fence that the neighbor&#039;s dog uses as a latrine!  Go ahead and say it!  As for #2 - just keep assuring her of your acceptance - she&#039;ll get it sooner or later...  #3 - If you think about it and try to put it into loving words, then feel free to say it - if it&#039;s said in love, noone should be offended because it will come out right.
I did make you lasagna for your birthday and brought it in the trunk of my car in the roaster - 6 or 7 years ago - I remember....

Dear Leanne&#039;s Mom,

I want Leanne to wake up on her birthday and realize that her anxieties and perfectionist are what make her the lovely, creative woman that we love today.  And that her daughter will turn out as beautifully creative as she did angst and all.

But I also want Leanne&#039;s daughter to be free of angst and wish that for Leanne, too.

I would like you to make Leanne lasagne and chocolate cake for her birthday.

I would like Leanne to feel that she is freed of the responsibility of healing other people&#039;s broken relationships.  Yes, free!

I would like Leanne to know that none of us are accomplishing all that we want to be accomplishing and that her words are beautiful already and more will come when they are ready to come.

I want Leanne to know that Hannah wanted long hair for her birthday, too, and it&#039;s overrated.

I want Leanne to know that she is just loverly.
