But think of all the animals’ lives you could save! And I’m willing to put them to sleep and end their troubles if they suffered like my now-dead cat, Clare, did (she couldn’t even walk; it was so heartbreaking the way she dragged herself along the floor 🙁 arthiritis, u know…)

For me, my love of animals and to do everything in my power to save them or do stuff for their own good surprasses the disgust and/or sadness. Thank god I’m not allergic, either!

Then again, I’m only 13 :rolleyes: what do *I* know, right? besides, math and science arent my best subjects ….but i wont give up!!!! :dance:

Those are the things that deter me as well. I just don’t think that I could do those painful and yucky things all in one day.

My daughter loves animals and I wonder if she will do the Vet thing? I grew up around animals my whole life. Sadly, my kids are not. All I can handle right now is a cat. My kids love my parents Alpaca.

There is the good and bad to every job.

I had no idea. My father tried to tell me I wanted to be a doctor, so I repeated that for awhile. The first time I remember thinking about this was when I was about 20 and I thought I wanted to go into the Peace Corp.

What’s the best advice you would give to a young person trying to become an artist?

i wanted to be a vet when i was a kid too, i never had pets growing up so here i am, in my late 40’s, with my first dog, trying to figure things out.
