This just made me thankful I have a 9 year old boy instead of a 9 year old girl. Our shopping trip today consisted of me holding things up, saying “what do you think of this?” and him saying, “that’s fine, I guess. I don’t care.” And “do you like the blue or the tan better?” and him saying…”whatever you like…doesn’t matter to me.” Ah, gender differences so early in life!

Oh and 9 yr olds aren’t the only ones who have issues with those stupid low-rider trousers, us 34 yr old ‘fluffy’ types can’t stand them either 🙄 You’d think that when you get to be a size 22 the last thing people are going to want to see is your ass 😯

When my daughter was that age, I worked at Goodwill. She had a walk-in closet FULL of cute stuff, and I shopped while I worked, very convenient!

I feel your pain! We tried going this week. Walked out without a thing because “my feeeeet huuurrrrt” and the other one was, “soooo tired.” You see mine loves the flare legs! Our problem is we have the size 8 waist, size 8 legs, but size 10 rear. Junk in the trunk! So we buy the ones that fit the rear, put on a belt and cut and hem 2 inches off the bottom! And now I am school shopping for the both of them. On supplies and school fees we’ve already spent $150.00 (and that doesn’t include our kindergarten monthly payment of $250.00 for all day). Maybe they’ll just have to be naked! Maybe next week! Hugs, clara
