Size: 12″ x 24″
Medium: Oil Pastel Painting
Notes: After I created this original Curious Ducklings oil pastel painting, I received a commission to paint another one.
The light spirit and bright colors are warming and friendly, so I’ve added it to my collection of art prints available for purchase.
Please note, the size of this painting makes for an odd sized print. I will print based on width, the height will require special matting and framing (but it’s worth it!)

Medium: India Ink Painting
Notes: This pickerel frog is sitting among a bunch of bright yellow mushrooms. The contrast between the green and gold made me want to capture this photograph as a painting.

Medium: Oil Pastel Painting
Notes: The One. I’ve known so many who have struggled with conception. This piece represents to me that there is one that is meant to be, and the timing of his/her arrival is not under our control.

Medium: Oil Pastel
Notes: This painting was fun to imagine and compose. I combined the Earth’s horizon with a photograph I took of my daughter, peeling away the galaxy to watch over us. It has been a favorite painting from my portfolio since it’s creation.

Medium: Oil Pastels
Notes: This is an oil pastel fingerpainting portrait of my husband. I painted it just before he deployed with his unit for Iraq. I painted another portrait of him in uniform, you can view that one here.
Status: Artist’s Private Collection

Medium: Acrylic Painting
Notes: Custom Portrait painted in acrylics and in red at Erika’s request, to challenge me with a different medium. This piece was done as part of a portrait exchange with Erika Nelson, you can view her work here: Nelson Arts

Medium: Yarka Sauce Chalks
Notes: Custom Portrait of my personal physician, who I think resembles (and has the personality of) Santa Claus.

Notes: Custom Dog Portrait of a beautiful Rottweiler named Sweetie, in a fun pop-art type pose.

Medium: India Ink Painting
Notes: Custom Dog Portrait of a beautiful fluffy white Bichon Frise named Max in a pop art style pose. I love painting pets when they’re in a pose that looks up to their owners, it says so much about how they love their people!
