Notes: Josie, a beautiful brindle pit bull terrier, has sadly passed over the rainbow bridge. Her parents rescue pit bulls and Josie was a very special girl. I completed her portrait and hand-delivered just in time for Christmas.
A note from my client: “he absolutely loved it…It was the best gift. Thanks so much…everyone was so impressed with the likeness and the realness of the drawing. They couldn’t believe how lifelike her coat looked. Again….thank you soooooo much.”

Notes: Patrick came to me with the desire to build his site using WordPress for better SEO. He had previously been using flash, and it was not as user friendly to update nor was it serving him well in search results. I designed and built his new portfolio using one installation of WordPress, giving him both a blog and photo gallery to show off his incredible photography.

Notes: A custom pencil drawing of my client’s father, gifted to her mother for Christmas.
A few words from my client – “We received the portrait today and it is fantastic. Even better than the scan and it looks even more like him than the photo. You are truly blessed with a awesome talent. ”

Notes: I’ve had the honor of painting my first Silver Labrador Retriever – her name is Lola. She’s just about 7 months old in this portrait, and beautiful as can be. She’s playful and very obviously happy with her sweet lab smile.
I enhanced her fur a bit more in her portrait than her photo really dictated because she’s got a really pretty coat and I wanted to show that off a bit.

Notes: Kona, a beautiful orange tabby, is the fourth painting commissioned by my client. Kona’s portrait will hang beside Elsie, Badger and Jambalaya.

Notes: Caesar’s portrait will be a cherished and personal birthday gift.
Though Caesar’s reference photos weren’t really “perfect”, sometimes just a few photos that show me personality, coat length and color and a bit of eye color are all I really need. I know how important it is that the end result replace those photos with a clear, lifelike memory of a pet.

Notes: Lisa had some specific requests for her photography blog. She moved to WordPress to gain a lot of functionality, as well as make things easier and more enjoyable for her readers. She wanted to eliminate the “standard” sidebar and move those items to pages, and make more room for larger photos. Her photography is based in nature, and now her design matches her passion and talent.
