We got them when the were 3 weeks old and bottle fed them every 2-3 hours. 😀 They had human like personalities, I think because we got them at such a young age.

Ursa was a very empathetic soul. She would sit with me when i was sad, and when I lost a baby 4 years ago, she licked away my tears and “talked to me” in kitty talk. LOL! She’s been gone for 3 years now, from stomach cancer.

She was like a kid for us, she even talked back when we scolded her, and had a good dose of sibling jealousy when our first daughter was born in 2001. 😀

You can see pics of her here

It’s teeth were so sharp that we eventually had to give him away. I love the pictures so much!!! I love how they look like little bandits. lol

I love seeing animals like that… they remind me of kittens getting into everything. 😀

I might have to contact you about doing a painting of my fur angel Ursa Boo. I miss her. 🙂

A very late congratulations that you had a cover. So cool!

It must give you warm fuzzies to see your work loved so much!

I kid. He had to have been 60 pounds, though. He scared the cripes out of me one night, my motion detector lights came on about midnight – I had half a heart attack when I saw how big he was. I don’t mind them, as long as they don’t drag the garbage my neighbor leaves out uncontained into my yard.

“…checking for bugs.”

I could use a couple of those little suckers. Actually, we have a raccoon family that eats the cat food at night. Mom, Dad and at least one baby. I wish they’d eat more bugs and less kitty kibble, though. 😉
