I figured I’d try one more time! :cheerful: and I’m not sure my previous comment went through OK.

I would like to submit a photo of my once in a lifetime “soul dog” Trevor.

He is a retired therapy dog & my closest friend. Unfortunately, he is now getting on in years and I find myself realizing we have more days behind than in front of us. My family certainly would cherish a portrait of him.

Trevor has been a true ambassador for his breed – brightening the days of countless people. Even though he is retired from therapy work, he still touches people.

He has been the inspiration for a whole area of the world wide web where Sheltie lovers gather to learn, inspire & educate.

One of my favorite photos of him can be found here.

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce you to him!

Maybe the second one. lol

Pinkachu was rescued by us from the animal shelter, he was just a baby. They had found him lingering by the garbage cans by a restaurant with his little brother, but we didn’t have enough money to rescue his little brother too. 🙁 Pinkachu bonded with us immediately and felt part of the family. He goes by Pikachu, Pinkachu, Kinka, Kinky, Gerbera, and now Santa PInka. He is very loving and sleeps on my side of the bed with me almost every day. 🙂

Kiowa is going on 14, old for a Samoyed, and we know we don’t have long left with him.
My husband adopted Kiowa when he was 4 years old. He was the product of a divorce and then was taken back from his first adopted family due to abuse. Kiowa is the best dog ever. He has the perfect personality and is excellent with kids. We recently adopted our first child and Kiowa is his protector. When our son cries Kiowa will stand next to him and lick his head to comfort him. He will also come and get me if I don’t come quick enough!
Like I said, Kiowa is going into his 14th year of life. He was just diagnosed with arthritis in his back and he is having a hard time walking now. There are days he can barely make it outside and some nights he does not come upstairs to sleep.
I would like to have this sketch to give to my husband, who is very attached to Kiowa and I know will be very sad when Kiowa leaves us. This would be a great way for Kiowa to be remembered – not only for us but for our son when he gets older.
I have emailed you a photo of Kiowa.

Gavin is a large Westie and because of this he was not attractive to Westie adopters. As I told the shelter, I’m not regulation size and nobody wants me either, so we will make the perfect team! Guess what? We do!

Angela
