Kockout’s thrive in full sun, which is 4-6 hours or more. If you get that much, they should do well! You can definitely still plant them, there’s another month or two of warm weather for them to establish. I’d just recommend a root booster when you put it in the ground to help it along. 🙂

Will they grow in areas that are half sun half shade. I have a 6 by 6 area in front of my house on a slope and thought that these would be nice and easy to maintain since they are self cleaning.
