And don’t worry about the great-niece (in-law) making you sound old. The “in-law” part clears you of the risk of sounding old by making your husband sound old instead. :giggle:

Yes, never take money with you to tupperware parties, candle parties, jewelry parties, pampered chef parties or shopping malls. 🙂

Not that I’m complaining mind you! 😉 I found the best storageware ever, it’s called Trouvé and it’s amazing!!! No more loose lids! :yahoo:

I went to the party strapped for cash and not intending to buy anything and of course came home with an order for a basket that I didn’t want and didn’t need to spend $45 on :jawdrop:
When we went to Korea it seemed that ALL the wives over there sold one thing or another and to me it looked like they were just exchanging money with eachother. You had to go to Sally’s party because she came to your party…etc. I may have ruffled some feathers cuz I didn’t go to any of the parties, but I wasn’t about to crack. I did not need any more stuff.

I’ve now decided that I need to get rid of all my plastic cookwear. I only have the very small Tupperwear steamer…and I love it, but I’m not cooking in plastic again. So out it has to go!

The ants are giant carpenter ants, so they’re bigger than average – the bud is about medium size. Hm, that might not help. The ant on the left is probably 3/4″, the bud about 1-1/2 to 2″ in diameter.

But I like the stuff from my youth… haven’t bought any new generation. I’m sure it’s just as good… just doesn’t look like something my Mom used.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the tupperware rep planted that baby just to get women’s hormones going. Sneaky stuff.

Are those gigantic ants or small buds?
