I am dreading the day my cat leaves us…I have had her since I was 7 years old (now i am 26) – she still lives with my parents as we thought it was unfair to move her when I moved out (plus we live in a flat.) I just know I am going to be heartbroken.

We lost a family pet after 12 years, when my kids were teenagers. She was a mid-sized chihuahua and she was like our baby. Never had another dog that I’ve felt that way about.
