Thanx soo much!!! :thanku: I am very relieved as well to finally get some advice on this matter. 😀 Laproscopic does sound soo much easier also,because i am a little overweight;and I was looking at the photos on the web of the old fashioned way & it just looked scary to me.And I am also glad to hear you didn’t actually have one of these wierd things!!!Thanks a bunch 4 responding to me.Oh and by the way your paintings are beautiful,I am a cat lover as well.Have a great day Leann!!!

Hi Leann,I just happened to stumble upon your site when i entered “Women with Spigelian Hernia’s”, on Google.Well i see that you have or had a Spigelian Hernia?I am 31 yrs old & recently been told i too have one.I was just wandering if you had your surgery yet & how did it go?I am soo worried about the surgery itself 🙁 I had a hernia operation near my belly button in 2005 & it was repaired using the mesh wich healed fine.But now i have what i been told is a Spigelian Hernia in the top left of my belly button,It seems to hurt when i caugh or im stressed out,especially in my back somewhat,Could you please let me know how your surgery went and was yours done laproscopically???Any advice or help on this matter would definately be greatly appreciated,Thanks!

I am glad I am only 1/10th Irish! Geez girl! Your body parts are not cooperating with you. Shame on them. Too bad we can’t send body parts to time outs like our children! I think my feet are the only body part that haven’t acted up on me (yet). And you….ummm….maybe your ears?? UGH! Hang in there!

Now I know why our medicine cabinet gets fuller as we get older! Great-grandma always said a little sip of whiskey cured the ailments (along the lines of what Annie posted).

I’m one quarter Irish, but out of the whole family I’m told I look just like my Irish Great Grandma, and act crazy like her, too. I wondered why I keep getting the pointy stick.

Sorry you have to go through all of this. Geez it seems like everyone I know is having problems with their feet, my podiatrist says its very common at your age…lovely. Anyways, hope at least if you have surgery that it works and all your pain is gone. It seems like it is alway something doesn’t it? Take care,
