I can understand (and fully agree) about not using a black color in your pet portraits. I&#039;m curious if you use indigo for your &quot;darkest darks&quot; base?

If not, how about sharing your basic palette for getting the &#039;darkest dark&#039; color. What do you mix together to get started?

Oh, And if you use a &#039;technic&#039; for applying the paint, I&#039;m assuming you would mention it. (example: &quot;I used a sponge here to get that effect.&quot;)
