Imagine having to spend a whole weekend with your ridiculous family. We’re making up for it though. Four eight year old boys will be here Sat night for a sleepover. His sister has decided she’s moving out for the weekend!
I look at my daughter, as I’m sure you do and see how grown up she is becoming. I hope she has those cherished memories of her childhood. On the other hand, I don’t quite feel grown up yet. I’m still changing my mind about who I want to be by then. Hugs to you, Clara

Ouch, you mad me hungry showing off those pizzas…
I can’t remember having such grown-up moments clearly. I think it just come sneaking up on me :jawdrop:
Well, every human being is beautiful – in it’s on way. Some more than others though, but most often from the inside. My Mom was such person. Beautiful even after her death… (it’s true!)

Those moments happen often, but it isn’t too often that parents take the time to notice it and document it so beautifully like you just did. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. 🙂

The Mother/Daughter lunch sounded wonderful, great memories!

Mon, 05 May 2008 15:24:32 +0000http://intricateart.com/blog/?p=2989#comment-13377I find my life much easier when DD’s friends come over…they all play and leave me alone!!! ha ha She has one friend who will eat any food you put in front of her…love that girl! Her other friend doesn’t eat anything!!! don’t love her. But we live either way.
Your Mother/Daughter thing sounds lovely! I hope your fishies last a long time for you…although I’m considering some so DD gets a taste of death before one of our longer lasting pets goes.
I’m not so sure I remember when I felt grown up. My parents split when I was 13 and I was forced to become a parent to my younger siblings. So I feel as if my childhood was snatched away from me. I do remember shaving with one of those old razors and taking a chunk of my leg with it!!! And I should have waited to start that nonsense I think I could have gone about 2 more years if I had been smart about it. But sigh, all my friends were shaving, so I had to do it too.
