Thank you all for caring, I certainly empathize more than I did before about this kind of pain! 🙁

Fri, 05 Aug 2005 02:47:18 +0000http://intricateart.com/blog/?p=900#comment-3068Eh, I have a very high tollerance for pain and it is usually a dull ache. If it were my hubby he would be complaining all the time. I guess I am used to it now. The problem resulted from 2 things… 6 days of back labor with my son 12 years ago and then a car accident 4 years ago. I will live… hope you are better soon!!

Thu, 04 Aug 2005 20:38:31 +0000http://intricateart.com/blog/?p=900#comment-3066Oohhhh (phoenix) I’m so sorry! OW OW OWWWWW I wish you could come to my chiro, he’s amazing (and cheap). He thinks it will take 4-5 visits (daily) to move my pelvis back and un-pinch my nerves, even uninsured, out of pocket amounts to under $200. My hubby has a similar problem and the MRI and cortizone shot was waaayyy more expensive than that. I hope you’re doing the ice thing, and ibuprofin?! Gentle hugs to you, too!!

Thu, 04 Aug 2005 20:29:47 +0000http://intricateart.com/blog/?p=900#comment-3063Been there and do that everyday. I have a pinched disc between L4 and L5. It is ballooned and pinching the nerve there as well. I have lost part of the feeling in my right leg from the butt down to my knee. I know exactly how you feel, but can I do anything about it? no. I don’t have any insurance and to pay for visits straight up would put me on the street homeless. So I deal with the pain daily and hope that no one notices.
