And people have been telling me that I have a nice voice. So maybe you and I can join the church choir and do a duet together?

By the way, may I commend you on your very artistic looking blog – I love it!

If you were in madrigals you definitely pass muster.

Sing in the choir, babe. If the choir director thinks you should sing a solo, that will be his decision.

In my experience, a church choir director is always happy when a new member joins.

I truly hope you had a glorious day and I will certainly be back to view the fireworks photos.

My brother once told me that I will never have to worry about putting on weight and if I ever did I should simply sing for my supper – it would be a guaranteed weight loss plan. Oh yes, he is charming that way. There is a reason I wish I was an only child.

At least you have been told you would sound good in a group of singers, no one has ever offered me that compliment – and there is a reason for that.

Don’t listen to them, sing if you want to! It makes you happy and guarantees alone time. (wink)

I miss it a lot. Our church has a small worship team instead of a large choir so I have been too shy to audition. But I say, Go for it, Leanne! Make a Joyful Noise!

If you love to sing, and they’ll let you in, join the choir! The great thing about Church is you can sing as off key as you like and they can’t throw you out. . . or, shouldn’t throw you out.
