[…] Read the very first Thursday Thirteen here!I also thought it would be beneficial to link to everyone who participated – but it wasn’t long before linking to everyone became a full time job! It spread like wildfire, and it brought more bloggers together than I ever thought possible! Fun Fact: The Crusty Crone was the first one to join in on the Thursday Thirteen fun!In September of 2005, MommaK of Petroville joined me as a Thursday Thirteen Hostess. Together, MommaK and I promoted the Thursday 13, spent our Thursdays visiting and linking up all of the participants. It was a blast!In January, however, we both drove off a cliff. Figuratively speaking, of course! We were overwhelmed trying to get around to visit everyone, and needed to turn the hostessing reigns over. I passed the hostess torch over to Nicole and Lindsey, who offered to host the code and do their best to get around to all of the Thirteeners.Meanwhile, I had purchased ThursdayThirteen.com and had plans to develop and create a place for everything Thursday Thirteen related. Thanks so much for getting this started. Like Lindsey said, we are really excited to be able to do this. I have gotten everything switched to my new domain now and I also have the images and code ready to go! I can’t wait till Thursday!! :yahoo:
