Hey hun! I didn’t get by Thursday but wanted to say hi. I contemplate the whole blogging thing a lot. One week I’ll want several blogs and the next I don’t have the time or the desire to post to one.

Six designs? Wowzers. You’re a busy lady. It’s just because you’re so darn talented. I guess I better get in line and put in my order for what I want to do next.

So If you are asking yourself that question, I would have to ask it too…Why do you? Although it might be frustrating at times, it would appear that we get something out of the things we do, beyond monetary compensation, or we wouldn’t keep doing it, right?. I work for almost nothing at what I feel is one of the most important jobs. I get a sense of accomplishment , pride and rewards in hugs. I get a thank you now and then, but I have found that if I rely on others including my director to acknowledge all that I do, I’ll be waiting a long time and still not get the satisfaction I desire. I’ve decided to provide my own worthiness and the things that I don’t find worthwhile, I cut out of my life. It’s difficult, but time is the most precious thing I have and I won’t spend it on things that I don’t get reward from. No one else is going to give you what you desire, find it in yourself to feel that what you are doing is worthwhile. For me anyway, that’s enough. Hugs to you, clara

I'm not surprised that contemplation takes a long time and needs repeating. Even just trying out the variations of meditation could be a life's work. There is something pleasant and grounding to being able to free the mind of all thought, even just for a moment. Om. rashbre

“Contemplating”…. is that what my husband is doing for the 25 minutes or so he sits in silence on the toilet?! If so, I think it is probably over-rated!!!

I think it’s okay to wonder why you do some of the things you do, and wonder about why you are the way you are. I saw a really powerful quote on a movie preview of all things, and thought I would pass it along. “To have power over others makes you strong. To have power over yourself makes you fearless.” By always seeking to understand yourself, you come closer to having power over yourself, and closer to being fearless.
