I have never thought it smelled any rawer then any other color.

I’ve personally never smelled umber to know what it smells like raw or burnt – so I can’t answer that question. I imagine the intent is to show what it looks like in its raw form, versus after it’s been overcooked. 😉

P.S. I thought sap was more of a burnt sienna color, I wonder why is it green?

but im back with it today!

Sounds like a fun weekend! I’m totally not back with it today! Not one little bit!

I do love what you use for your palette, though. It makes the best palette, doesn’t it?

Absolutely – if I want to keep my colors fresh, I invert and tape another one to the top. If I get it all mussed up, I toss it – no cleaning required!
