Stay tuned in your feedreader!

This is a black swallowtail, he visited my butterfly bush yesterday afternoon.

**Photographer’s Favorite**

This. This is my daughter. (Catybug.)

She was challenged in youth group to be different.
She succeeded in surprising everyone who saw her yesterday.

I admit, I love to play dress up with my girls.
I also love playing portrait photographer when we’re done playing dress up.
Which portrait is your favorite, and how did you react when you saw her?
Wonderful:
Having the opportunity to apologize to someone from your past.
Suckish:
Not hearing anything back from said someone after said apology.
Priceless:
Photographing a hummingbird with the same sentiments in mind.

Grooooovy.

Copper, the Little Prince.
Time for tea. He does lift his pinki when he drinks, too.

Our giant sunflowers are blooming.
That bumblebee is the size of a quarter. Okay maybe a nickel.
(Can’t a girl embellish for effect?)

He looks like a scaredy squirrel, doesn’t he?

I just can’t get enough of these adorable little birds. The hummingbirds are quite active right now, they’re on the feeders and flowers constantly. I was playing with my camera (Sports scene auto mode, Panasonic Lumix FZ50) and got some incredible shots today of this little female Ruby Throated Hummingbird and had to share.
Tell me, because I have to know, what you think about this portrait.

An inchworm that looks like a twig.

We have new ice cube trays.
