Notes: Badger is a wonderful and loving Siberian Husky. In her mom’s words, “she loves belly rubs and snow and food that she’s not supposed to have. She chases the cat and loves her toys. She is also a certified therapy dog and she takes that work very seriously. She spent hours with my dad in the ICU last summer and was the best thing that happened to the hospital staff during those days. She helped nurse my dad back to health by just being there, ready with kisses when he needed them. He’d wake up in the morning - not very coherent - asking for Badger.

She also visits kids in a local mental health hospital on a monthly bases. She loves to be petted and fawned over. She isn’t afraid of wheelchairs and scary hospital machines - she doesn’t see deformities in people, she only recognizes the beautiful things about them. She gives love unconditionally.”
