Notes: Emily’s parents provided me with some old photographs of Emily that were quite blurred and difficult to get any detail from. They really liked the background from Cleo’s portrait, and wanted to see their baby girl sitting in grass, as well. They chose a pose that is endearing to them, and I worked from several photos to really enhance the detail and expression in her face.

Upon seeing the portrait proof, they said “We feel you have really captured our Emily. The portrait is looking tremendous.”

I am fond of dogs and these portraits were so dear. I can see any pet lover would be so thrilled to have one as their pet passes on. What a wonderful way to be thankful for the time they DID have together. A cherished memory.
