That soldier absolutely loves this painting and so do I! You have captured the essence of the picture… love. He is a soldier, yes, but more importantly he is a father and loves his kids more than life itself. Thank you for such a wonderful painting!
As the Soldier in the painting, I do love it. You have captured the essence of the moment. You see, I was visiting Germany for her Confirmation (even the Protestants do that in Germany), and this was snapped by either her mother or her aunt.
