Notes: After seeing Bubba’s portrait, Gala’s mom was excited to see her German Shepherd, Gala, come to life in her own portrait – so she ordered one for herself from my shop! I referenced two photos of Gala, one from her younger years, prior to an ear injury – and one from her older, wiser years.
I see the aged, loved, wise Gala in this portrait, and it was an honor to draw her.
Thank you, Leanne for the beautiful portrait of Gala. I do cherish it. I am sure time will help with the pain of loss and it is wonderful to have the likeness of Gala to spark memories of many fun times! The lovely drawing does so capture her. Gala was my soul friend and a beautiful, exciting obedience exhibition partner for many years. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
