Cat Portrait : Callie Complete

Cat Portrait Sketch : Rex
I’ve sketched up another cat portrait – this is Rex. He’s a tuxedo kitty, just gorgeous with a Groucho Marx style moustache across his nose. He even has a similar look on his face, too! I’ll work in this background in the next few days as well.

Bird Portraits : Boo & Kiwi WIP #2
Kiwi is a Yellow-Sided Green Cheeked Conure, in case you’re not familiar with this type of bird. Many, many feathers yet to be painted. Boo, a tiny little Pacific Parrotlet, will get more detail as well.

Callie’s second portrait is coming along, as well. Her eyes will be further refined and pick up more of the gold from the background, layers of fur will give her depth on the canvas and her whiskers will come forward a bit and really give you that feeling that she’s got her head propped right […]

Cat Portrait : Morris WIP #2
Morris is a short hair orange tabby, so with this rich chocolate background color, he’ll really convey that kind of “regal” air about him that I picked up in his personality while I studied his photograph.
