It’s a TATER COUPLE!
This is another commission I’ve begun. What? What is that you say? NOT a pet portrait? What is going on?! Well. It’s all about potatoes, don’t you know. Even my pet portraits start out as spuds. Really. No, not really.
All I can say is that you know you have the funnest (I made that up) job in the planet when you get to paint Taterheads.
I love my life, I love my paint, and I love my Wacom tablet. Amen. Oh, yea, and my husband and kids, too. Amen.

I love potatoe heads! I get to play with them at school you know. The new ones are way cooler than the ones we had as kids. They even have a compartment in their butt to store their stuff! Playing with 3 yr olds for a living has its advantages! I’m glad you are happy painting today. Have fun! I’m happy for you! hugs, clara

Well I don’t know what’s more fun now, painting them or playing with them?! I just hope that Mr. and Mrs. are working on some baby spuds, then the baby spuds can have their own portraits done too.
