I saw this through another blog lastnight, Dolce and Gabbana have been working on some new menswear.
Now as a woman, and an artist (I’m using my scapegoat now), I can appreciate the frontside of a slender young model in this new line of jeans. Butt. (and I say that as more of a pause than anything else.)
Butt.
That’s my problem. Turn the guy around, and how much of the backside do you get to watch? Iew. I’m sorry, that should not be in the public view. That’s not leaving a n y t h i n g to the imagination, you know?
Here’s my other problem.
Let’s say a guy, not that everyone doesn’t have a beautiful body, but out in public let’s say you see a guy in a pair of these jeans. He’s got 3-20% body fat, unlike these models who appear to have like 1% body fat.
How’s THAT guy going to look in these pants?
And besides, don’t most “youngin’s” wear their regular Levi’s down this far? And D&B wants the boys to spend over $100 a pop for something they can do with a pair of Levi’s?
I swear every time I’m out in public I want to run around pulling pants up, am I the only one with this urge? LOL
(should I shut up about it and just buy a pair of the “LOVE” version for my guy? hehe)

I totally agree. I don’t want to see a man’s fur parts in public. And I certainly don’t enjoy seeing either a man’s (or a woman’s for that matter) personal division line on the backside.

That’s a whole other matter isn’t it! Maybe D&B should be including some Nair with every sale? heh!
How do you spell immatiated? I certainly wouldn’t be attracted to something that looked like that.

Ok, here are my theories on this one. 1. If you are going to show it, shave it! 2. You’re right, where’s the butt shot! and 3. I would love to see a beautiful young man in those, butt…This is the problem…people that shouldn’t wear those inevitably will! Why we think we all should wear the fashions the models do is beyond me. I see heavy girls all the time with too tight and too short of tops with the stretch marks hanging out, not to mention the cracks and love handles. Why can they not look in the mirror and be realistic about what they should wear, or do they just not care anymore. Leave the low cuts to the skinnys, eh?
Does that leave the rest of us ANY clothes? Maaannnn I have to throw out my whole summer wardrobe now…
