  • Still Life : Antoinette WIP #2

    January

    2005

I’ve just finished my second underpainting, this one may take two more yet! The floor and left dropshadows are the only things completed thus far. I’m including a small clip of #1 & #2 side by side so you don’t have to dig to compare. 🙂

Do you wear a cape under your clothes? My goodness, you are superwoman. It was all I could do to take down my Christmas decorations…still not done yet either! Here you are, installing floors, moving furniture, painting and walking! Makes me tired just thinking about it. All your work looks amazing…the floor, the viola and yes, you too! Hugs to you and the girls, clara

Wow! I really like it that you put the two underpaintings side by side for us to see the differences. I think this piece really tells a story. One of your best pieces, thusfar, I agreee totally with Carrie-Bo-Berry (bananafanaferry?)

Your WIP is looking great, Leanne! And big too? I love that you chose to paint a portion of the viola. Very striking!

Hey everybody! Thank you so much!

Yes it’s a biggun, 18×24. Almost taller than you are, Pidig! 😉

I wonder if you guys are telling me that I should paint more stills? Huh?

I do find myself being sucked into this painting when I look at it, but I also know what she sounds like, so maybe that’s why? I’ve always loved orchestral music.

What’s the story you see, Kris?

Hey Honey, hope you’re all rested up and had a fun day playing (day off I hope?). Love you, too.

Yep honey, I’ve got plans for the piano, too. New year, new paintings, right? Your dad & J bought me a gift set from Bath & Body that came in a really neat dimpled silver dish, so I’ll be doing a still life using that, too. 🙂

Get that daggone connection fixed, would you?!
