looks great! bummer that i missed you painting on the cam.
She looks as if she’s gonna pounce right out of the painting!
I saw a bit of her coming to life today. I wish I knew what she was looking at!
Callie was one of the sweetest little kitties that I have been blessed to share my life with. I truly enjoyed every single day of her 10 yrs. Leanne has the amazing ability and talent to capture a kitty exactly as they are. For that I am grateful. This photo was taken of Callie in her bed, the place she loved to hang out-her head propped up looking around. She is an angel now and while she remains in my heart forever. I will have this beautiful masterpiece to grace my home. Thank you Leanne. Karen (Callie’s mom)
Hi this is nice oil painting .Thanks for shareing.Wishing you well
June – she’s looking at you, of course.
Karen, you know what I love most about you is how much you absolutely adore your furbabies. Your caring and love for animals is so apparent and I really can’t even tell you how touched I am every time you talk about them. Your level of compassion is something everyone should strive to attain, really. The world would be a much better place.
Huge, huge hugs to you.
Taba, perhaps you should stop having a life then, and just hang out here.
:friends:
 why didn’t i think of that?
Callie is forever captured in her beauty thanks to you. 🙂
Leanne,
Thanks for your very kind words. I can’t imagine life without my fur children. I feel ‘one’ of the very unique things that sets you apart from other artists is that you don’t just ‘paint’ a picture. You take time to know the person & the animal and that really shows in the finished piece. Not only have you captured Callie’s beauty, but you have captured her purrsonality…and that’s what makes you and your portraits special. Thank you again. Karen
Love your art! You did a great job on this cat portrait.
