    The crocus dwarf irises are bloomin’! The crocus dwarf irises are bloomin’!

    (Doh moment, calling them crocus)

    On top of this fabulous purple growth in my front yard, did I mention I spied, with my little four-eyes, a robin last Friday? Here in the Midwest, that’s indicative of only one thing:

    S P R I N G !
    Okay, the snow can go away now. Shoo. Buh-bye… I’m packing the shovels alllll the way up front in the moving van, I tell ya.

    I found the same thing in my yard. What a lift! It was a feast for the eyes, and a tonic for the soul. (The next day we had snow flurries!) But in my heart of heart I know that spring is on the way. Doing a happy dance with you. 😆

    We have nothing coming up yet here in Maine. We don’t usually get daffodils til around tax day. I had to resort to cut daffodils from the supermarket for my class of watercolor students.
