(I took this photo at Sea World last Spring.)For those of you who haven’t seen March of the Penquins, you must! I loved this film. I do enjoy documentaries on animals and their behaviors, but I think even if you’re not one to get into that kind of show you would like it. Morgan Freeman did an outstanding job narrating – he has the perfect voice for it. The penquins amazed me, their behavior, their dedication and devotion made us laugh, and sniffle, and when the babies were born Caitybug and I were both in “awww”. It was beautifully done!
The Red Violin was interesting, and confusing, and interesting again. In the end, I liked it very much, guessed what he found out (not to give it away), and was glad the movie ended the way it did.
All in all, it was another good Family Flick night. How is your weekend going?

Thanks for the Thursday Thirteen code….I’ll give it a try!
We loved that movie too! Our weekend was going great and our plan was to go to the mountains today because its supposed to be 55, but then I woke up and found that you sent me your head cold in the middle of the night. So now I feel like crap and instead I’m going to lay on the couch and watch football with my tissues in hand. Hugs to you, clara
That is such a cool photo! I love Seaworld. When I go there again, I am going to spend the whole day with the dolphins. Well maybe not all day but a lot of time.
Sorry, I didn’t read the post because I was overcome by the photo. I haven’t seen either of those movies. We rented Guess Who and Christmas With the Kranks. Guess Who was really good and funny. The other one…not so much. My family liked it, but I think it was stupid.
BTW, it is not fair that you have more snow where you are than we do here in my area of Minnesota!
I wanted to see March of the Penguins in the theatre but never did. Being the bird lover that I am, guess I’m going to have to buy the movie now!
I love the picture by the way. Awesome! The St. Louis zoo opened the Penguin Puffin Coast a few years ago and it is AWESOME. Before the exhibit opened, I really wasn’t all that into penguins, but now that I’ve gone in there several times, they are one of my favorite birds. For some reason, I really like the Rockhoppers. It must be their crazy little feather-do on top of their heads. The Puffins are pretty neat too.
Weekend is okay. I’ve had a headache all weekend…that sinus drainage kind of headache. It has made me tired. I think I’m going to go take a nap now in fact! :lazy:
i’ve been wondering about that movie. i will have to rent it today!
haven’t seen the penguins as yet, just waiting to have some time for a movie night. that photo almost looks like it’s a painting.
“March” is on my list to rent! Awesome photo. Have a great week.
Beautiful photo! We have yet to see that movie. I love Morgan Freeman!
We’re all ill at our house, but hope to go see the lights later. Thanks for asking 🙂
Stop smoking!
Great Photo. The last time we were at Sea World my youngest son (now 16) just loved the penguins. Personally I think they are beyond cute.
Watched the movie yesterday with my mom. We both enjoyed it! We were also in “awwww”. :pilot:
I recommend it.
Thanks for the great picture.
LOVED Penguins and Red Violin too!
My son’s favorite moment of Penguins? When the seal ate the penguin  LOL
And what an awesome painting of the penguin!
I have heard only rave reviews of the Penguin movie. It sounds great.
I am a little scared of the movie – I’ve been told that there are death scenes! But .. I did put it on my wish list for Christmas, so maybe I’ll be able to watch it in the privacy of home… :cold:
