If I were tiny, I could climb on his back and ask him to fly me around the backyard. He just looks like he’s got a nice comfy little seat there for someone to ride on. In fact, I could probably bring a friend. Who wants to be tiny with me?
It looks like a comfortable spot, doesn’t it? Please say you’ll go.

Yowza!
OH.MY.GOSH! Incredible!
And heck yeah, I’ll go! :yahoo:
looks soooooooo comfy! do you think i could get some of that floof to add to my couch?
Whoa! That’s an amazing shot!
Cool, Pam! I promise no roller-coastery type stunts. He’s just a touristy dragonfly.
Taba, it would take 40 quadrillion dragonflies to get enough floof for your couch. What would the world do with that many naked insects?
WhyMommy, thank you so much! :friends:
Did you ever see “The Rescuers”? This guy reminds me of Evenrude. Of course I would hop on that ride! That would be so awesome.
Awesome picture Leanne! How did you manage to get so close? Macro lense of course…right?
Me too! Me too!
…and I wish you did take a photo of me then, because these ones are just GORGEOUS and I might look better then 😉
Incredible shot, such crisp clear bright wonderful breathtaking unbelievable beautiful impressive (and so on, so on, for ever superlatives…)
I’m stunned of admiration. I hope you feel super proud over your artwork, because this is almost too good to be true!
If I trained for gazillions years, I might come close to that, but never fully I suspect…
If you were tiny he might eat you.
Just sayin’.
Renee – I imagine he was mortified, seeing 10,000 large camera lenses in his face. He held very still. 😉
LC, a steady hand and a nice camera – that’s all you really need.
Oh, yes, and dragonflies in your backyard. That helps. :pilot:
Lilac – good point. I’ll have to bring my sword into my shrinkifier, just in case. :sarcastic:
Oh I’ll go! :hitch-hiking thumb:
I’m not sure my Panny ever did this :dunno: Must have something to do with your talent!
June – I’m sure it’s just that your Panny never got shoved into the bulging eyes of a dragonfly in macro mode. Really.
 :friends:
Cool Macro, Leanne! I :clapping:
I think we could all fit if we line up down his back. 🙂 The dragonflies sure are out lately. Perfectly done. 🙂
Me, too. I would love to climb on his back and ask him to fly me around the backyard if I could. It’s like climbing on the flying cat in the Japanese animation movie, “The Neighbor Totoro” produce by Miyazaki. You can take a peek of the movie at the youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAIXf8-zwbk&feature=related
Good night.
What an amazing shot!!! I’ll fly with you! :pilot: As long as we don’t do a Thelma and Louise at the end of our ride! hee hee :giggle:
Awesome! I love dragonflies (have two permanently depicted on me, in fact) and this is a dandy shot.
